Samsung's 6-in1 Digital Cameras Provide a Wealth of Functionality in the Palm of Your Hand

CES Innovations Award Winning SC-MS25 Combines Digital Camera, Camcorder, MP3 Player, Voice Recorder, Web Cam and Data Storage in One Device

Las Vegas, NV – Samsung, a world leader in award-winning innovation, is leading the charge in multi-function devices with a new line of three 6-in-1 digital still cameras that offer video and voice recording, music playback, data storage, and web cam capability in addition to producing high-quality digital stills. The ultra-compact SC-MS25 combines multiple functions with full 6 MegaPixel photo quality and the best MPEG4 recording quality (640 x 480, 30fps) available in a digital still camera. Samsung’s innovative 6-in-1 still cameras will be on display during CES 2006 at the Samsung booth, #11033 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 5th – 8th.

SC-MS25 and SC-MS20 models combine 6 MegaPixel digital stills with high-quality MPEG4 recording allowing users to preserve those special moments in either photo or video format. Ultra-compact, with a chic magnesium body, the multi-function digital cameras slip easily into a pocket. A 3x optical zoom lens and a 3.0” wide LCD make it easy to capture the perfect shot while the built-in movie and photo image stabilizer supports the picture clarity.

Key features of the SC-MS25, SC-MS20 include:

A sliding lens cover protects the lens from dust and scratches, and four “Hot Keys” provide shortcuts to the most frequently used functions according to the selected mode. The mode dial lets users switch functions easily with status displayed on the LCD screen. The camera can be charged via USB connection to a PC (when the power is off). The SC-MS25 includes 512MB of built-in memory, and the SC-MS20 includes 64MB of built-in memory. Both models come with an SD/MMC slot for increased storage capacity.

The SC-MS10 features a 5.3M CCD with 3x optical zoom and a 2.5” LCD. The camera captures MPEG4 movies in 640 x 480 resolution at 30 fps, the best available quality in the digital still camera category. Voice recording, data storage, MP3 playback and web cam capabilities offer true multi-function versatility in an ultra-compact, stylish package. With it’s 64MB of built in memory, expandable up to 512MB and a mini SD card slot, the SC-MS10 provides plenty of storage and transfers files easily with USB 2.0.

The SC-MS25 will be available in May 2006 at $499.99 MAP as well as the SC-MS20 at $399.99 MAP. The SC-MS10 will be available in February 2006 at $349.99 MAP. All three cameras come in red, black or silver.
